The WCH Foundation Beach House is South Australia’s first purpose-built holiday home for families with children who have complex medical needs or in palliative care. The Beach House has been specifically designed, constructed, and medically equipped to meet the needs of these families, while the bright and beautiful interiors, landscaping and sweeping views of the lake create a sense of calm and wellness.
The Beach House program is operated by the WCH Foundation in consultation with the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH). Applications are welcomed from families with children currently under the care of the WCH’s Palliative Care or Complex Care Services.
The Beach House accommodates up to 12 enabling immediate and extended family or friends to stay providing a precious opportunity and experience of ‘family’ connection.
