  Overall the unit is excellent and amenities great, it's only downfall is the lack of hanging space for clothes as wardrobes all locked, we used the second bedroom to put clothes, but if more than two you couldn't do that. And the pillows they were unusable, one was so thin and the other like a rock, we had to go out and buy our own, with the firm mattress it was not a good combination. In other words, take your own!

Lounge too soft/saggy and made our back ache unfortunately also kitchen wooden chairs very uncomfortble for sitting long periods

  We had a pleasant weekend at Carrickalinga. The apartment was a bit dated, but well equipped. With the beach only a stroll away there was plenty to do. The surprise was the half tennis court which our grandsons really enjoyed and we could watch them easily from the apartment. The pool and spa looked enticing, and if the weather had been a tad warmer we would have asked for access. A good value holiday break.

  Great location tucked in between the pristine beach and impressive hills.

  Unit has been nicely updated with a seaside vibe.

  Even the friendly natives dropped by to say hello at our loungeroom window, including 3 kangaroos and a very friendly magpie!

  The property was adequate and clean. However less pleasing was the charge for cleaning ($70). Where can I apply for that job as there would have been less than an hours work involved. Normally cleaning is part of the agreed tariff in all of my other experiences. Further disquiet was the fact that the accommodation did not even have tea and coffee or sugar and UHF milk. This once again is not what I am used to. Not even salt and pepper

  The area was wonderful being able to walk along the beach. The unit could have had linen provided and there was very little in the kitchen. No tea coffee. We had to ask for extra toilet rolls as one toilet roll is not enough. Most travel auctions include cleaning. The facilities were great being able to have a swim in the pool. A few changes inside the unit would make it great all round.

  The location is gorgeous and close to Normanville restaurants, takeaway and supermarket etc. The unit itself exceeded my expectations, the bathroom was modern and appeared in somewhat new condition apart from the shower door, which has either been damaged or warped and doesn't close too well. I was happy the main bedroom mattress was on the firm side rather than being saggy. It was good that different sized pillows were provided however 1 was too thick and 1 was too thin for me, an in between might suit people generally. Kitchen was well supplied with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils, although some of the teacups and mugs had residual rings of tea/ coffee inside the rim so needed hand washing well before use.
  Minor issue that the kid's bedroom bunk bed ladder was directly below the light shade, a little bit hazardous. Not much space remains with 2 bunk beds in there- cupboards were all locked up, which, being available would have helped deal with this. One couch was notably more comfortable than the other, reflecting one being used more.
  The unit was satisfactorily clean but care wasn't taken to sweep or vacuum under couches and behind doors, I'm happy to report the only bugs present were dead ones and a couple of moths of an evening.
  It is made very clear that own linen, towels etc are required for the stay, but I must say it made getting organised for the 3 night trip harder when needing sheets, towels, cleaning supplies, dish detergent, tea, coffee, milk, hand towel, condiments etc. This is usually one of the perks of travelling having these essentials taken care of for you.
  Unfortunately my children woke up at sunrise each day before 6am because of the amount of light that can enter around the bedroom window covering.
  A few minor issues aside, we were very happy with the property and our stay; we would recommend it.

  We stayed in Unit 3 which was spacious and had excellent facilities. Updated bathroom and kitchen, very comfortable lounge, good size dining table, and the queen size bed had a good firm and comfortable mattress. Choice of hard or soft pillows for all beds was appreciated. The kitchen was very well appointed. Having access to wi-fi as well as being able to login to Netflix and other paid services was a real bonus. Other items such as board games and magazines etc were put to good use on rainy days. Some minor maintenance issues but overall a very good place to stay. Nice looking pool and spa area. Area teeming with birdlife and the occasional kangaroo on the hillside. Set close to the beach with lovely walks and vistas to enjoy. Being a holiday unit, be prepared to bring toiletries, towels, linen etc. We had a wonderful relaxing four night break here and were so glad we stayed here.

  The unit was in a great location, close to the beach. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The only negatives for us was the light didn't work in the bathroom and although an electrician was organised very quickly, he was unable to fix it saying there was no power to the light. Didn't hear anything else about the light during our stay so we had to put a lamp in there which was definitely not ideal. The other thing was the hot water system certainly needs an upgrade. After 2 showers there is no hot water left needing to boil the kettle for any hot water needed until the next day. We would return but only if those problems were addressed.

  It is late Autumn, the weather is cool but we still had a nice stay here by the beach. The place was comfortable and good. The kids loved the smart TV and good internet. I did not like the grotty Frying pan. And the only other complaint is the electric hot water service that runs out of hot water with 4 people then u got no more hot water for 24 hours.

  This tidy and refurbished unit is very comfortable, well equipped with kitchen requirements and dishwasher. A bonus is their free wifi and smart tv (evening wifi is a bit slow). A lovely outlook to the skyline over the beach, so close to pool and bbq. My only sugggestion would be perhaps a sheer covering for the picture window to help with privacy. A 2 minute walk to the beach allows easy access to the amazing sunsets of Carrickalinga. And a catch of fish from the beach.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Carrackalinga. The unit was clean, attractively furnished and very comfortable. We had everything that we needed. It was pleasant to have a lawn and tennis court in front of us and we felt that in the summer the pool and BBQ would be fun. The apartments are well placed for visiting local attractions. We hope to visit again.

  We stayed for 3 nights as we were given a voucher as a gift. Firstly we had only a quarter roll of toilet paper left and no spare, the fridge door had something sticky spilt in it and went to shower at the end of the day and had no hot water, happened two nights in a row where one person would shower with hot water and the second person wouldn't have any hot water.

  Lovely beach only a few mins walk, really good pool and spa to use. Clean premises. Only a few mins drive and you’re in Normanville with good cafes , takeaway,foodland pub etc

  My sister and I had a wonderful restful holiday. The apartment was very clean. There was everything in the apartment we needed.
